Account Executive - Financial Services

Responsibilities
Own and drive new business revenue across the Financial Services vertical, focusing on banks, insurance companies, and related enterprises
Develop, manage, and execute an effective sales strategy for territory or named accounts to meet or exceed sales goals
Identify, qualify, and build new business relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target organizations
Lead end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, needs assessment, value discovery, solution presentations, proposal development, negotiation, and close
Work collaboratively with pre-sales, solution engineering, product management, and marketing teams to tailor SymphonyAI offerings to customer requirements
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and activity records using CRM tools
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding business challenges and presenting SymphonyAI solutions that drive value
Represent SymphonyAI at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand presence and generate new leads
Qualification
Required
Proven track record of exceeding new business sales targets in the Financial Services industry, ideally in enterprise software or SaaS
Ability to understand complex business challenges in financial services, including risk management, compliance, financial crime, digital transformation, and customer experience
Strong skills in consultative, solution-based selling, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders
Demonstrated experience managing long, complex sales cycles and navigating decision-making processes within enterprise organizations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-starter who thrives in a results-driven, fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees a plus
5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in selling enterprise software, SaaS, or technology solutions to Financial Services organizations
Deep understanding of the Financial Services industry landscape, major challenges, regulatory trends, and decision-making structures
Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools, such as Salesforce
Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements and industry events
Preferred
Familiarity with AI, analytics, or digital transformation solutions is strongly preferred
