Gallatin Valley Program Manager
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Big Sky Country has been serving the youth of Southwest Montana for over 50 years. The Program Manager is responsible for delivering and supporting mentoring programs, focusing on outreach, recruitment, and match support to ensure high-quality mentoring relationships.

Responsibilities
Serve as a visible ambassador for BBBS–BSC in the Gallatin Valley by building and maintaining relationships with schools, youth-serving organizations, businesses, and community partners to increase program awareness and referrals. Represent BBBS–BSC through outreach presentations, community meetings, coalitions, and events to strengthen organizational presence and support sustainable Big and Little recruitment pipelines
Follow BBBS Standards and Service Delivery Model for all program steps that are outlined by the BBBS National office
Manage Big & Little recruitment through outreach events, tabling events, and other networking opportunities
Manage enrollment of Bigs & Littles, including interviews, assessments, reference checks, and background checks while updating the SalesForce platform in a timely manner
Facilitate matching process, supervision, closure, and match support for program participants
Assign and facilitate (if applicable) online trainings for Bigs & Littles
Coordinate and oversee program activities in the assigned service area (currently, Gallatin County), ensuring child safety at all times
Develop and execute a calendar of community events including Match Activities, Big Meet-Ups, and an annual Match Appreciation Event in collaboration with the program team
Ensure that any problems and/or questions from youth, volunteers, parents/guardians, teachers, and school administration are promptly and courteously resolved
Collaboratively work as a team member with our other Program Managers and Match Support Specialist, as well as other BBBS staff
Proactively and professionally communicate with other team members in person and across a number of virtual platforms (e.g. Gmail, Slack, etc.)
Evaluate impact through baseline data and seek to continually grow and adapt programming to serve identified youth and community needs
Work in close coordination with other BBBS team members to coordinate efforts as needed
Provide program coverage and support in other BBBS-BSC service areas as needed to ensure continuity of services and team effectiveness
Participate in agency-wide initiatives, training, and cross-functional projects as assigned
Help with office and administrative tasks as assigned
This may include, but is not limited to running errands for the office, ordering/picking-up office supplies and helping distribute posters for upcoming events/enrollments
Support fundraising events, community donations, etc
Participate in BBBS staff and program meetings and retreats
Other duties as assigned

Required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Organizational & time management skills
Ability to confidently apply strong interpersonal and social-emotional skills with adults and youth in a range of cultural environments
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
General awareness of resources available in the community
Knowledge of best practices in Child Safety, Trauma-Informed Care, and Equity and Inclusion
Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license and suitable insurance
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (social services, education, human resources, or related field preferred)
at least one year experience with social service organizations
