Responsibilities
Lead monthly reviews of material inventory status to support the 4 week Sales Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process
Lead daily Gemba meetings to report:
+ Stockroom priorities, status and performance
+ Shipping priorities, status and performance
Report Monthly Inventory Cycle Count progress
Qualification
Required
Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Proven leadership and management experience
Understanding of inventory and warehouse management
Understanding of packing and shipping requirements
Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments
Ability to multi-task within tight deadlines
Prior Experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment. Experience in electrical component manufacturing is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of SAP and proficiency in planning
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of equivalent work experience in inventory management AND/OR production planning
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 15 years of prior related experience and 5 years warehouse management experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Proven leadership and management capability
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to attain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred
Prior experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment. Military contractor / Defense industry background is preferred
Objective thinker with a passion for problem solving and the ability to execute challenging tasks to completion
Active SECRET clearance
Understanding of MMAS, Cycle Counts, and Financial Inventory Reporting
Experience leading in a unionized work environment
Experience in project management within a production environment
Understanding of the manufacturing and warehousing practices of electronic components
Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
