Responsibilities

Build business cases for key initiatives and provide an independent perspective on the relative merit of each initiative. Advocate allocation of resources to the best ROI use case and in support of advancing Google's goals on people operations core initiatives
Support Core FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analytics and reporting. Collaborate with the Data and Analytics team to incorporate tools and technology in core FP&A activities
Partner with other finance teams to ensure Google’s accounting, compliance and other financial requirements are supported
Manage ad-hoc analysis/inquiries with a focus on improved spend management and value creation through durable cost savings
Focus on process improvement and opportunities for extended workforce business processes to the finance hub. Leverage centralized AI tools to enhance analytical precision and deliver high-impact, data driven insights

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
4 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), or a related function

Preferred

Experience with SQL or other database, automation or business intelligence skills
Proficiency in investigative and financial modeling skills
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams, navigate complexity, frame problems, structure analyses, and drive impact in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment
Ability to work in an unstructured environment
Strong communication and people management skills, including the ability to work with and influence partners across all levels of the organization
