Area Sales Manager - Kansas
Avfuel Corporation is an aviation supply and services company with a strong history of stability and consistency. They are seeking an outside sales producer in Kansas to acquire new accounts and manage existing ones, while identifying new business opportunities and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities
Acquiring new accounts and managing existing accounts
Identifying and developing new fuel business opportunities
Opening additional channels of trade
Obtaining order commitments
Developing sales targets and forecasts
Meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales goals
Coordinating activities, opportunities and cross-selling with other sales departments
Developing knowledge of individual airport markets and influencers
Building a working knowledge of competitor products and services, customer segments and trends affecting the industry
Territory travel is required: Expect to travel three days per week every other week (OK, AR, MO, KS, NE, SD, ND)
Must be able to drive and fly without restrictions
Qualification
Required
Experience in prospecting, sales and closing new business
Ability to perform calls to generate leads
Ability to perform analysis to qualify opportunities
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills
Prior 3-5 years outside sales experience is a plus; candidates with strong sales potential and a willingness to be mentored may be considered
Bachelor's degree
Must be able to drive and fly without restrictions
Preferred
Aviation experience preferred, but not required
