The Market Development Lead will act as a resource leader and subject matter expert in the Sterile Processing department, developing policies, onboarding materials, and competency programming while building relationships with market leadership.

Responsibilities

Review, contribute, and propose revisions to local policy, procedures and processes as needed, and act as a general resource leader and subject matter expert (SME) to the Sterile Processing department

Educate new and existing associates in the department

Build and maintain relationships with Surgical Support Services market leadership

Identify education gaps and competency opportunities and serve as a subject matter resource when issues arise

Assist in the development of standard operating procedures and policies to ensure adherence to national standards

Develop and maintain onboarding materials

Develop competency programming for Sterile Processing associates and maintain tracking of skills development

Assist in recruitment efforts for roles within the Sterile Processing department

Qualification

Required

One or more of the following required: Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date

One or more of the following required: Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required

Sterile Processing background and certification required
