Responsibilities

Develop, modify, debug, and profile AR software using Unity C# script and shader, and C with native Graphics API
Execute and profile AR graphics workloads on AR prototyping systems and existing mobile and XR consumer devices
Build automation frameworks for graphics system analysis
Collaborate closely with AR experience designers, software engineers, and graphics architects/system engineers

Required

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
At least 10 years of experience in software engineering
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
Experience with Unity or Unreal gaming engines, including script and shader programming
Strong background in 3D graphics development, execution, and profiling
Familiarity with modern Graphics Pipeline, software stack, and performance profiling tools
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl

Preferred

Proficiency in C/C programming with Graphics APIs like OpenGL, Vulkan, or Direct3D
GPU Shader programming experience (GLSL, HLSL, etc.)
Experience with VR/AR development, such as Oculus VR and Hololens AR apps and games
Experience analyzing graphics pipeline performance in mobile, PC, or game console products
Background in Unity content generation pipeline
Ability to operate autonomously with high-level direction
