Responsibilities
Teach college-level courses in-person on the main Virginia Western campus, or a hybrid class where lectures are online and labs are in-person on the main Virginia Western campus
Maintain currency in teaching disciplines and trends in community college education
Be an active participant in departmental communication
Perform other duties as assigned
Assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor
Qualification
Required
Must possess a Master's degree in Engineering
All Adjunct Faculty positions require excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to write syllabi and exams
Ability to develop learning strategies, curriculum and assessments
Ability to work with students of varying abilities from diverse backgrounds
Preferred
Teaching experience at the college level
