Responsibilities
Serve as the primary DBA supporting a critical enterprise application running on a proprietary message-processing architecture
Manage and optimize SQL database environments with a focus on performance, reliability, and data integrity
Support multi-threaded data streaming and ensure ordered message processing across parallel data streams
Collaborate closely with application, infrastructure, and business teams to understand workflows and operational priorities
Troubleshoot and resolve database and application-related issues impacting downstream systems
Help prioritize workloads based on business needs and application dependencies
Create and maintain documentation to support continuity and long-term system stability
Qualification
Required
Strong SQL DBA expertise
Experience supporting complex application architectures
Ability to align technical execution with business priorities
Experience managing and optimizing SQL database environments with a focus on performance, reliability, and data integrity
Experience supporting multi-threaded data streaming and ensuring ordered message processing across parallel data streams
Ability to collaborate closely with application, infrastructure, and business teams to understand workflows and operational priorities
Experience troubleshooting and resolving database and application-related issues impacting downstream systems
Ability to help prioritize workloads based on business needs and application dependencies
Experience creating and maintaining documentation to support continuity and long-term system stability
