Chief Operating Officer

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will build and lead the operational framework to scale delivery across hospitals and state programs, ensuring efficient deployment of REDi’s solutions and measurable client outcomes.

Responsibilities
Enable REDi to scale delivery across hospitals and states with confidence and predictability
Turn REDi’s best solutions and IP into repeatable, deployable offerings
Create operational clarity that improves decision-making, staffing, and coordination of departments across the company
Ensure REDi can consistently document and communicate the outcomes we deliver
Strengthen client partnerships by translating work into measurable, executive-level value
Lead REDi’s delivery operating system, including governance, resourcing, quality, and client-facing execution
Standardize how work is scoped, launched, delivered, and completed across hospitals and state programs
Ensure client engagement delivery is profitable
Establish governance and deployment processes so REDi solutions are documented, repeatable, and faster to redeploy across clients
Partner with engineering/analytics leaders to reduce rework and accelerate 'time-to-redeploy' across clients
Build scalable recruiting, onboarding, job architecture, and performance systems to support client delivery and analytics teams
Strengthen performance management practices, including expectations, feedback loops, accountability, and—when needed—consistent corrective action
Create a system that consistently documents, reports, and proves client outcomes and ROI including baseline measures, interventions, before/after results, ROI, and narrative case evidence
Lead operating planning, metrics, and management rhythm that improve predictability and decision-making across delivery teams
Identify operational risks, implement mitigation strategies, and drive continuous improvement as the organization scales
Lead the client engagement model from onboarding through renewal and expansion, translating REDi’s work into measurable value for hospital leaders
Establish disciplined communication and reporting cadences (e.g., executive summaries, KPI visibility, escalation paths, and decision logs)
Create a disciplined value‑realization framework that consistently translates REDi’s solutions into evidence‑backed impact and reusable materials for renewals, regulatory reporting, and growth opportunities
Partner with commercial leadership to identify and prioritize expansion opportunities converting insights into actionable roadmaps and proposals
Strengthen retention and predictability through proactive stakeholder mapping, relationship health indicators, and renewal readiness processes
Ensure client-facing deliverables (QBR decks, scorecards, evidence packs) are aligned to contractual reporting requirements and client approvals
Act as a trusted advisor to the Co-Founders: synthesize information for board/investor updates, highlight bottlenecks, and drive decisions to closure
Support proposal development and delivery readiness for state-level and multi-site opportunities
Qualification
Required
Master's degree required (MBA, MHA, MPH, or similar) or equivalent experience leading complex operations at scale
Senior Operator with 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, healthcare technology, consulting/implementation at scale, analytics, or related roles
5+ years leading cross-functional teams with accountability for delivery budgets, staffing and outcomes
5+ years working directly with healthcare data environments electronic medical record vendors (EMRs) to maximize deployment value to clients
5+ years demonstrated experience scaling an organization or function (e.g., PMO/delivery ops, deployment/implementation, productizing repeatable offerings, or building a talent engine)
Preferred
Experience with rural health, hospital operations, revenue cycle/revenue integrity, or clinical/operational improvement
Experience supporting government/state programs or multi-site healthcare initiatives
Familiarity with healthcare data environments and the realities of deploying within client systems
Experience working with rural hospitals/critical access hospitals or state/federal healthcare programs
