Responsibilities
Test Planning and Development: Document test requirements, create test plans, and develop test methods
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with design and concept engineers to incorporate Design for Test (DfT) features into new products
Test Hardware Development: Develop test hardware using Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, leveraging pre-existing libraries for PCB templates and component symbols
Test Program Development and Validation: Create test programs, convert Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) test patterns, integrate with test equipment and hardware, debug, and validate them on Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
Test Package Documentation and Release: Document and release test packages to volume production, supporting silicon characterization and qualification
Test Optimization and Cost Reduction: Reduce test costs and improve the quality of existing test solutions through test method improvements and test platform transfers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, Physics, or Computer Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of experience developing production test solutions for mixed-signal ICs or modules using Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
Strong understanding of electronic engineering principles in areas including: Analog and digital circuits, Power devices, High-speed signal integrity, Statistics and data analysis
Experience designing PCBs using schematic capture tools such as: ORCAD, Allegro
Programming skills and experience in, C/C++, Visual Basic
Hands-on experience making bench electrical measurements using: Signal generators, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum analyzers
Demonstrated skills in: Problem-solving, Communications, Teamwork
Strong understanding of test engineering principles and methodologies
Experience with EDA tools and PCB design
Knowledge of Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) and ATE systems
Familiarity with test programming languages and software development
Ability to analyze and optimize test processes to reduce costs and improve quality
Preferred
Working experience with Teradyne ETS systems (highly desirable)
Knowledge of digital and analog IC design environment, pattern generation, and verification (a plus)
