4+ years expUHY Advisors is seeking a TTP Controller to join their team, responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. This hands-on role includes managing grant and general accounting while providing leadership to the accounting team.

Responsibilities
Oversee accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, and journal entries
Prepare, examine, and analyze financial records and reports for accuracy and GAAP compliance
Manage grant accounting including billing, reimbursements, tracking, and compliance reporting
Reconcile grant and program financial statements by fund (including multi-grant programs)
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile receivables, payables, prepaid expenses, investments, and transfers
Prepare schedules, trial balances, and supporting documentation for the annual audit
Assist with the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets
Supervise, train, and support accounting staff; serve as a resource for accounting and systems questions
Maintain accounting records including fixed assets, depreciation, designated funds, and endowments
Partner with program leadership to provide grant accounting guidance
Support financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
4+ years of accounting or finance experience
Grant accounting experience required
Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
AP/AR experience
Experience with Sage or similar accounting/ERP systems
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred
Human Services or nonprofit experience a plus
