Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing internal audits in accordance with audit standards and departmental methodologies
Perform audit testing, including walkthroughs, control testing, and substantive procedures
Document audit workpapers clearly and accurately
Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and potential risks
Assist in drafting audit findings and reports for management review
Follow up on prior audit issues to assess remediation status
Collaborate with audit team members and business stakeholders
Support special projects, regulatory exams, and risk assessments as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in audit, accounting, banking, or financial services
Basic understanding of internal controls, risk management, and auditing principles
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
