Responsibilities
Prepare Family Law related documents including pleadings and correspondence
Provide legal counsel and strategy to clients by analyzing their needs and determining the proper course of action
Represent clients in court
Must be prepared to step in and handle pieces of existing family law cases; as well as handle new cases as part of a team, from initial consultation to trial
Experience in managing your own caseload with staff and management support
Experience making court appearances regularly
Significant experience drafting motions, arguing law and motion matters, and taking and defending depositions
Strong communication skills
Qualification
Required
4 years of family law experience
Must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the Bar
Strong written, analytical, and problem-solving skill
Preferred
Family law judicial clerkship preferred
New Jersey Bar admission required
