Mac Support Engineer
Qualis1 Inc. is seeking an experienced Mac Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support for macOS devices in a corporate environment. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and operational excellence while troubleshooting and resolving issues with Apple hardware and software.

Responsibilities
Provide onsite Level 1/2 support for macOS devices, applications, and peripherals
Install, configure, and troubleshoot MacBooks, iMacs, and macOS
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, application, and network issues
Support Apple services such as Apple ID, iCloud, FileVault, and Time Machine
Perform macOS upgrades, patching, and software deployments
Provision and decommission Mac devices for user onboarding/offboarding
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements
Document incidents and resolutions in a ticketing system
Deliver excellent end-user support and guidance
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting macOS in an enterprise environment
Strong knowledge of macOS troubleshooting and Apple hardware diagnostics
Understanding of networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS)
Familiarity with ticketing tools such as Freshservice or similar
Knowledge of Mac security best practices
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently in an onsite support role
Preferred
Experience with MDM solutions (JAMF preferred)
Apple certification (ACSP or similar)
Basic Bash scripting knowledge
ITIL knowledge or experience in structured IT environments
