Responsibilities
Design and own end-to-end SAP PP–MES solution architecture
Provide expert configuration and architectural guidance in SAP PP, PEO, and QM modules
Architect solutions for product rework, rework-from-stock, and MRO processes
Define and govern PPMM and PPQM integrations
Review and validate architectural decisions related to MBOMs, routings, and serialization
Support Parameter Unit Effectivity, especially for aircraft and complex product builds
Lead requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and architecture blueprints
Break down business processes into buildable development components
Guide ABAP developers on functional design and validate delivered solutions
Provide strong business acumen during solution testing and validation
Support complex assembly manufacturing scenarios and MES processes
Apply industry best practices from Aerospace & Defense or Automotive manufacturing
Provide expertise in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and project stock with WBS elements
Leverage theoretical and practical knowledge of SAP Project Systems, including Network Orders and PP-PS integration via MAIK
Lead and support data migration activities from SAP and non-SAP systems
Hands-on experience with LTMC, LSMW, and S/4 Data Migration Cockpit
Familiarity with SAP Data Services, SAP BODS, Data Services Designer, and S/4HANA database concepts
Investigate and resolve data migration issues related to BOMs and Routings
Perform and oversee multiple test cycles to validate BOMs, Routings, and Production Orders across system landscapes
Qualification
Required
15–20 years of SAP Manufacturing / MES experience
Subject-matter expert in SAP PP, PEO, and QM modules
Strong exposure to complex assembly manufacturing and MES integrations
Deep functional knowledge and architectural thinking
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions within S/4HANA environments

Preferred
Hands-on experience with SAP CAMS (Complex Assembly Manufacturing System)
Exposure to SAP Fiori applications and S/4HANA environments
