Responsibilities
Drive a strong safety culture with a goal of zero safety incidents
Improve machine throughput by reducing downtime, setup time, and inefficiencies
Develop and maintain performance metrics across safety, production, maintenance, quality, and shipping
Lead continuous improvement efforts across all areas of responsibility
Ensure SOPs are followed, updated, and improved as needed
Apply lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, and sustain improvements
Coach and develop direct and indirect reports; support succession planning
Plan and allocate labor resources to meet production goals
Ensure preventive maintenance programs are established and followed
Hold teams accountable for performance and results
Promote a positive employee experience on the production floor
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment
Proven ability to use data to drive efficiency and cost reduction
Experience training, coaching, and developing teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting demands
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with other leaders
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Hands-on continuous improvement experience
Preferred
Print manufacturing leadership experience
Knowledge of offset printing processes
Lean manufacturing education or certification
Experience working in an ISO-certified environment
ERP experience, including shop floor data collection
Familiarity with network connectivity in a production environment
