Responsibilities
Experience drafting, interpreting, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements for various Nutrition businesses including human nutrition, health and wellness, pet solutions and animal feed
Review, revise, and/or approve all proposed changes for confidentiality agreements and assist as necessary with customer discussions regarding such changes in order to execute MCA
Food or animal/pet industry experience would be a plus
Excellent contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills
Commercial approach to contract drafting and providing legal advice
Responsive to business needs, acting with a sense of urgency and timeliness
A willingness to learn about the Nutrition BU’s businesses
An ability to follow commercial contract playbooks and also help identify areas of playbook improvement
Qualification
Required
Experience drafting, interpreting, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements for various Nutrition businesses including human nutrition, health and wellness, pet solutions and animal feed
Review, revise, and/or approve all proposed changes for confidentiality agreements and assist as necessary with customer discussions regarding such changes in order to execute MCA
Excellent contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills
Commercial approach to contract drafting and providing legal advice

A willingness to learn about the Nutrition BU's businesses
An ability to follow commercial contract playbooks and also help identify areas of playbook improvement
JD and fully qualified in any State in the US
Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or an international corporate legal department
In-depth understanding of legal issues associated with the commercial operations of business organizations
Excellent contract negotiating and drafting skills
Knowledge of the legal requirements in claims and litigation
Fluent in English
Ability to support the business with legal matters
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Ability to work in a cross-functional teamwork context
Flexible and hands-on, excellent communication and relationship building skills
Preferred
Food or animal/pet industry experience would be a plus
Good knowledge of another language could also be helpful
