Confidential company is seeking a hands-on contractor to operate and maintain vacuum-based tube processing equipment. The role involves working with fragile components in a clean room environment, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities
Operate tube exhaust and vacuum processing stations
Use hand tools to disassemble equipment and remove finished products
Carefully load/unload fragile tubes without damage
Monitor and interpret vacuum, temperature, torque, and diagnostic data
Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Follow strict written procedures to meet quality and yield targets
Maintain accurate records using Quality Tracking System (QTS)
Identify equipment or process deviations and escalate to Engineering
Follow clean room, vacuum, and safety procedures (mechanical, chemical, electrical)
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
US Citizenship (mandatory)
Ability to obtain Security Clearance within 6 months
Comfortable working overnight shifts
Able to wear clean room attire
Physically capable (standing, repetitive motion, hand tools)
Preferred
1–3 years manufacturing or semiconductor-related experience
Experience with: Ultra-high vacuum systems
Experience with: Semiconductor or tube processing
Experience with: Clean room environments
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to multi-task across multiple stations
Familiarity with: SPC (Statistical Process Control)
Familiarity with: Six Sigma / Lean / 5S+1
Basic computer skills (MS Office)
