Responsibilities

Review Monthly Expenditure Reports MERs
Prepare payment memos and enter payment details into Zengine and Payment Tracker
Route payment memos for review and signatures
Manage and resolve payment memos that require corrections
Process payment entries in an internal database and creates payment memos for DHHS Office of the Controller
Implement financial management functions with internal divisions (DHHS Office of the Controller, DHHS Budget & Analysis)
Ensure adherence to state and federal laws, rules, policies, and procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree in sociology, psychology, political science, business administration, public administration, or related field from an appropriately accredited institution
Three years of experience related to the specific program assignment
Demonstrated working knowledge of contracts and the contracting process, specifically the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 200, as well as generally accepted accounting principles
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers, particularly in complex or difficult situations
Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to assist in interpreting and analyzing accounting data
Ability to organize and document effectively
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
