Responsibilities
Troubleshoots and repairs equipment in a timely, complete, and cost-effective manner
Perform duties to maintain production machines and other facility equipment
Check and inspect assigned equipment during preventative maintenance. Reports findings to management
Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking system
Identifies and recommends corrections on electrical issues through knowledge of drives and PLCs
Ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and extended down time
Maintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies
Respond quickly to issues or concerns that may put employees at risk for injury, to include rectifying immediate dangers
Maintain building safety and appearance including utilities, ventilation, housekeeping and plumbing
Communicate existing and potential issues with group leaders/maintenance manager
Other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in fast paced manufacturing environment
Ability to understand and interpret gauges, tools, and instruments relating to product quality and equipment repair
Must have a good working knowledge of electricity and troubleshooting electrical issues
Preferred
Knowledge and experience with PLCs, drives
Experience in welding with MIG and/or arc welder
Forklift experience
