Responsibilities
Designing, analysing, and optimising ferrite-based materials for RF, radar, and electromagnetic applications
Conducting materials characterisation including magnetic, dielectric, and microstructural testing
Supporting the development of novel ferrite compositions and manufacturing processes
Working alongside patent attorneys and IP teams to protect and defend proprietary materials technology
Translating laboratory research into commercially viable materials systems
Supporting prototype development, testing, and validation
Acting as a technical expert for internal engineering and external licensing partners
Qualification
Required
PhD or MSc in Materials Science, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Direct experience with ferrite materials, magnetic ceramics, or RF materials
Background in radar, RF systems, microwave engineering, or electromagnetic materials
Experience working in research, defence, advanced electronics, or high-tech materials
Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
Preferred
Exposure to patents, IP, or technology commercialisation is highly desirable
