Responsibilities
Evaluate credit applications by reviewing financial statements and verifying customer creditworthiness
Set credit limits, approve or deny applications, and manage special credit arrangements
Monitor and audit delinquent accounts, ensuring maximum collection efforts before assigning bad debt status
Oversee annual credit file reviews and timely updates
Coordinate credit insurance coverage with the parent company and insurer
Lead and direct the daily activities of the Assistant Credit Manager
Foster communication between internal departments and subsidiaries to manage overall credit risk
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum 4 years of experience within corporate credit, managerial experience is a plus
Strong ability to interpret financial statements for credit assessment
