Responsibilities
Assemble, track, and analyze monthly project costs for approximately 15–20 Factory and Field Service projects
Monitor cost and revenue alignment, ensuring accurate financial reporting to Project Managers and leadership
Ensure all project accounting activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and revenue recognition requirements
Create, maintain, and close project numbers within the internal ERP system (Microsoft SL/Solomon)
Prepare and deliver monthly project financial statements, cost reports, and project profitability analyses
Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices in accordance with contract terms and billing schedules
Generate pro forma invoices for Time & Material (T&M) projects prior to month-end for customer review and approval
Produce monthly invoices for completed Factory Work and Field Service projects
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently to support timely and accurate billing cycles
Prepare accounts receivable–related journal entries and perform monthly AR reconciliations
Lead customer collections communications and actively monitor aging reports
Identify delinquent accounts, escalate collection risks, and provide insight into cash flow trends
Collaborate with Project Managers and internal stakeholders to resolve customer payment and billing issues
Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support operational, project, and business decision-making
Participate in special accounting or finance projects as assigned, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in project accounting, billing, and accounts receivable
Strong experience producing accurate financial reports, project profitability summaries, and reconciliations
Proven capability supporting month-end close processes, including journal entries and AR reconciliations
Hands-on experience preparing customer invoices based on contract terms, including T&M billing models
Solid understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition, and cost/revenue alignment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (equivalent experience considered for the right candidate)
