Responsibilities

Engineer mechanical systems, components, and assemblies, integrating electrical systems to meet project specifications
Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure optimal system performance and reliability
Develop prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to validate designs, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
Work cross-functionally with electrical engineers, technicians, and other departments to address project challenges and implement effective solutions
Continuously evaluate and refine processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure compliance with industry standards
Prepare detailed technical reports, schematics, and documentation for internal and external use
Ensure all designs and processes comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies

Qualification

Required

3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with exposure to electrical systems
Proven track record of working in fast-paced, high-demand environments with shifting priorities
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
Familiarity with electrical systems and schematics, including wiring, sensors, and control systems
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations

Preferred

Experience in automotive restoration or related industries is a plus
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and quality control within the automotive or similar industry
Experience in classic vehicle production, restoration, or high-end automotive manufacturing is highly desirable
