Mac Support Specialist (Onsite)
Qualis1 Inc. is seeking an experienced Mac Support Specialist to provide onsite technical support for macOS devices in a corporate environment. The role involves troubleshooting, installing, and configuring Apple hardware while delivering excellent end-user support.
Responsibilities
Provide onsite Level 1–2 support for macOS devices, applications, and peripherals
Install, configure, troubleshoot MacBooks, iMacs, and macOS
Resolve hardware, software, application, and network-related issues
Support Apple services (Apple ID, iCloud, FileVault, Time Machine)
Perform macOS upgrades, security patching, and software deployments
Provision and decommission Mac devices for onboarding/offboarding
Coordinate vendor repairs and replacements
Document incidents and resolutions in a ticketing system
Deliver excellent end-user support and customer service
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of enterprise macOS support experience
Strong macOS troubleshooting and Apple hardware diagnostics
Understanding of networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS)
Experience with ticketing systems (Freshservice or similar)
Knowledge of Mac security best practices
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently in an onsite environment
Preferred
Experience with MDM tools (JAMF preferred)
Apple certification (ACSP or similar)
Basic scripting (Bash)
ITIL knowledge or structured IT environment experience
