Responsibilities
Strong experience with core AWS services: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, Backups, EKS, SSO, MSK, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and related security/compliance tooling
Advanced networking knowledge, including hands-on experience with AWS Transit Gateway (TGW) and Direct Connect — setup, troubleshooting, and hybrid connectivity
Observability & Monitoring: Experience with Amazon CloudWatch, Grafana, OpenTelemetry (OTEL), and proactive alerting and telemetry configuration
Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Proficient in Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Shell scripting for end-to-end automation
Container Orchestration: Solid understanding of Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio service mesh for traffic management, security, and observability
Security & Patching: Experienced in patching and vulnerability remediation in cloud-native and containerized environments, aligned with best practices and compliance
Programming & Scripting: Hands-on Python or Bash development experience for scripting, automation, and infrastructure tooling
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate across cross-functional teams

6+ years in software development (4+ in NLP/NLU for chat)
Advanced Python skills; experience with ML/NLP libraries (Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Proven success building conversational agents with Vertex AI and Dialogflow CX/ES
Proficiency in GCP services and cloud-native architectures
Solid MLOps understanding (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git)
Preferred
Experience with Agent Assist functionality is a plus
Master's/PhD in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field
GCP certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Certified Professional ML Engineer)
Experience with GenAI frameworks (PaLM, Gemini)
Integration with CRM, knowledge bases, and live agent systems
Knowledge of security and compliance in chat AI
Excellent communication and collaboration
