Responsibilities

Support the monthly general ledger close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules
Assist in preparation of commercial related accruals and R&D accruals, including coordination with functional stakeholders and timely recording in the general ledger
Perform cash reconciliations as part of the monthly close process and investigate and resolve variances
Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting deliverables
Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with the FP&A team, including data gathering, analysis and tracking of actuals versus forecast
Maintain and improve accounting processes, documentation and controls to support accuracy and scalability
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely, accurate financial information and support ad hoc analyses as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within biotech, pharmaceutical or life sciences companies
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, accruals and account reconciliations
Experience supporting monthly close processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Interest in and aptitude for FP&A, including budgeting and forecasting support
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with multiple reviewers and stakeholders
