Reorder Specialist

ZOLL Cardiac Management Solutions is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovative medical technologies. The Reorder Specialist plays a crucial role in the reimbursement team by managing the timely initiation and processing of medical orders from physicians, ensuring necessary documentation is obtained for continued patient coverage.

Responsibilities

Obtains necessary documentation for continued use as dictated by payer, including new medical order, updated clinical information or forms
Contacts the client, physician office and sales representative to relay or obtain pertinent information and documentation to ensure continued coverage
Completes weekly follow up with physicians to obtain extension orders signed for existing patients. Interacts with sales staff or sales team as needed to obtain required documentation
Responsible for generation of all reorder requests based on initial expiration
Compiles submitted documentation to accompany claim submission
Review submitted medical orders for completeness and accuracy according to payer standards
Performs other duties as assigned by Management

Qualification

Medical insurance verificationPayer types experienceMS Excel proficiencyCustomer service skillsPhone presenceMultitaskNegotiation skillsCommunication skills

Required

High School Diploma Or equivalent required
Experience working with all payer types to include Medicare, Medicaid and third-party commercial insurance companies required

Preferred

3-5 years experience in medical insurance verification preferred
