Postdoctoral Fellow - Anatomic Pathology - Research
MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join Dr. Donna Hansel's research group in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The role focuses on studying the mechanisms of cancer invasion and metastasis in bladder cancer, utilizing various models and methodologies to uncover novel therapeutic strategies.

Responsibilities
Design and execute cutting-edge experiments exploring tumor-immune interactions, leveraging advanced molecular, cellular, and in vivo methodologies
Lead collaborative projects, contributing to the design of protocols, experimental strategies, and data analyses
Prepare and publish high-quality manuscripts and present findings at internal meetings and international conferences
Provide guidance to graduate and undergraduate students, fostering a supportive and educational environment
Contribute to a positive team culture by actively participating in lab meetings, brainstorming sessions, and shared responsibilities
Qualification
Required
A recent Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. in cancer biology, cellular and molecular biology, immunology or a related field
Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications or submitted manuscripts
The applicant must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated technical expertise in cellular and molecular biology, immunohistology, imaging techniques, and animal experience
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred
Experience in immunology, genetic analysis, single cell as well as spatial-omics data analysis, and bioinformatic analysis (such as TCGA data analysis, large data analysis using R language etc.) are highly desired
