Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T
Use common inspection and measuring equipment
Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) as required, utilizing SPC software
Conduct Gage R&R studies and develop inspection methods that meet customer acceptance criteria
Use computer-based software to support inspection, SPC, and quality documentation
Inspect parts to ensure compliance with customer-defined dimensional and cosmetic requirements
Distinguish and properly identify acceptable product, scrap, rework, and work-in-process throughout manufacturing
Properly identify and disposition scrap in a timely manner
Evaluate nonconformances and initiate corrective actions as required
Respond to customer corrective action requests and support root cause analysis
Work with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues
Locate, follow, and develop work instructions and procedures
Write and maintain quality procedures and work instructions
Train employees on quality processes, inspection methods, and procedures
Work cooperatively and collaboratively with coworkers and cross-functional teams
Support efficient workflows to meet customer delivery expectations
Alert management to equipment maintenance needs or safety concerns
Qualification
Required
Demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to the company's Quality Policy
Prepare, submit, and maintain PPAP and/or FAI qualification packages in accordance with customer requirements
