Clinical Intern Coordinator Salary Range: $75,349-$82,336
Spindletop Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive behavioral health services, and they are seeking a Clinical Intern Coordinator to oversee the LPC Associate/Intern program. This role involves coordinating clinical supervision for interns, developing program guidelines, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Develops, implements and oversees the LPC Associate program and all clinical student intern placements including program policies, procedures, budgets, and guidelines
Assists in recruiting interns and acts as a liaison with educational institutions to optimize placements within the center
Coordinates clinical supervision placements between interns and supervisors, monitoring to ensure positive outcomes
Participates in development, implementation, and dissemination of ongoing clinical resources, supports and guidance for all LPC, LCSW, LMFT, and interns/associates within the BH units
Develops and conducts clinical trainings and other trainings/presentations as assigned
Monitors work of assigned staff and ensures all contract, funder and reporting obligations are met
Maintains current knowledge of all regulatory, statutory, federal, state, accrediting and contractual rules, standards, guidelines and laws related to Center programs and provision of services
Performs direct care services to consumers including crisis intervention, intake/eligibility sessions, and counseling sessions
Provides clinical supervision and guidance to staff as assigned, including but not limited to, completion of clinical chart reviews, clinical guidance related to direct care services, review of Person-Centered Recovery Plans, review and approval of uniform assessments and diagnosis determinations, case staffing, and one-on-one or group supervision meetings
Qualification
Required
LPHA - Master's degree in Social, Behavioral, or Human Services with State of Texas Licensure as LPC Supervisor, LCSW Supervisor, LMFT Supervisor, plus two (2) years of direct care experience required
LPC Supervisor, LCSW Supervisor, or LMFT Supervisor
Good spelling and grammar skills
Ability to write progress notes according to standards, assessments, brief mental status exams, memos, letters, various complex reports and miscellaneous other documents with acceptable spelling and grammar
Computer - skilled in the use of technology with Microsoft Office and all Google applications
Current State of Texas Driver License or if you live in another state, must be currently licensed in that state
Liability insurance required if employee will operate personal vehicle on Center property or for Center business
Must complete all training requirements in month in which they are due
Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test
Must successfully pass all background screens as required by the state
Must be physically able to conduct home/facility visits to include walking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs, and standing for long periods of time if required
Preferred
Work experience which includes supervising/directing multiple staff members, preparing budgets, and establishing strategic goals and objectives is preferred
