They are seeking a Director of Operations to manage multiple teams within the firm’s non-legal departments and to oversee various operational aspects while collaborating closely with firm leadership.

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple departments, including: intake, records, facilities, office support, library services, and administrative support
Track CLE/admission requirements for attorneys and paralegals
Collaborate closely with the Director of Human Resources, General Counsel, and the Executive Committee
Synthesize strategic direction from firm leadership and translate that into clear and purposeful action among the teams you oversee

Required

Bachelor's degree required
8+ years of relevant Operations experience required

Critical thinking and strategic decision-making
Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills
Familiarity with online legal research software such as Westlaw or Lexis

Preferred

Law firm or other professional service firm experience preferred
Records management experience strongly preferred
Experience with document management systems (DMS), such as NetDocuments, preferred
