Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and support Palo Alto firewalls
Implement security measures consisting of Palo Alto firewalls (3000, 5000 & 7000 series), VPN tunnels, and Access Control Lists (ACLs) to protect corporate data
Architect and deploy scalable enterprise-level networks, including LAN, WAN, and data center environments, using Cisco hardware such as Catalyst switches, and Juniper datacenter switches
Support the implementation of the Cisco SDN network, including Cisco SD-WAN, to enhance network security, agility and automation
Configure and maintain complex routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies (VLANs, STP, HSRP, EtherChannel) to ensure high availability and efficient data flow
Diagnose and resolve critical Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity issues using tools like Wireshark and Cisco DNA Center to minimize downtime
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise or data center environments
Strong expertise with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Catalyst switches
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF
Experience troubleshooting complex network issues in production environments
Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark and Cisco DNA Center
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team
Preferred
CCNA or CCNP Routing & Switching certifications
Exposure to Cisco SD-WAN / Software-Defined Networking
Familiarity with automation tools or scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform)
