They are seeking a highly motivated individual for the Papadopoulos Laboratory to work on deciphering cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying Leydig cell androgen formation. Required
Bachelor's degree
3 years of lab experience
Proficiency in mammalian cell culture
Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR)
Protein extraction and immunoblotting (Western blot)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining
Microscopy imaging
Flow cytometry
Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
Demonstrated experience in animal handling
Blood collection
Serum and plasma preparation
Tissue harvesting
Fixation
Processing
Embedding
Fully competent and proficient in the operation of sophisticated scientific equipment
Independently able to perform complex procedures and techniques with accuracy
Preferred
M.S. degree for 2–3 years of lab experience
B.S. degree with 5+ years of equivalent experience
Experience with Seahorse metabolic analysis
Master's degree
Advanced knowledge of research procedures, equipment and analysis methods
