Epic Application Analyst
SDK Software, Inc. is seeking an Epic ASAP Analyst certified in the ASAP module to join their team. The role involves independently building, testing, and implementing Epic systems for large healthcare organizations, ensuring the integration and optimization of workflows in high-volume environments.

Responsibilities
Build
Configure ED workflows like triage, patient tracking, provider documentation, discharge, and throughput management
Participate in unit testing, integrated testing, and user acceptance testing to validate real-life ED scenarios
Support go-live activities, resolve issues quickly, and stabilize the system after launch
Qualification
Required
Epic ASAP analyst must be certified in ASAP module
must have at least 4-5 years in a senior role in the implementation of Epic for large organization
Should be able to work independently and with the team to build, test and implement according to the project plan
4–5 Years in a Senior Implementation Role
Not just support or maintenance work
Has actively participated in (and likely led parts of) full Epic implementations for big healthcare organizations
Experience includes: Requirements gathering, System design, Build and configuration, Integrated testing, Go-live and post-go-live optimization
Large Organization Experience
Comfortable dealing with high patient volumes
Comfortable dealing with multiple ED sites or departments
Comfortable dealing with complex stakeholder groups (nursing, physicians, operations, IT, leadership)
Understands enterprise-level standards and governance, not just single-hospital setups
Ability to Work Independently
Can own assigned build areas without constant supervision
Manages tasks, timelines, and issue resolution on their own
Capable of making configuration decisions aligned with project standards
Strong Team Collaboration
Works closely with other Epic analysts (orders, interfaces, reporting, etc.)
Works closely with clinical and operational stakeholders
Works closely with project managers
Ensures their work fits into the broader integrated Epic environment
