Responsibilities

Perform heavy depot‑level maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft structures and major sub‑assemblies
Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet‑metal and structural components using precision measuring equipment
Interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and structure repair manuals to identify aircraft locations and required actions
Execute bonding operations and verify material conformity to specifications
Operate material testers and mixers, record data, and maintain a clean, FOD‑free work environment

Required

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access
The selected candidate must possess an interim clearance to start and have the ability to obtain a Final Secret Clearance
Proven experience in precision sheet‑metal work, bonding techniques, and interpreting technical documentation
Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, safety‑focused environments
Driven to deliver high‑quality results that keep the F‑35 fleet mission‑ready
Perform heavy depot‑level maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft structures and major sub‑assemblies
Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet‑metal and structural components using precision measuring equipment

This position may include certain required health screenings and immunizations
Position may also require extended work hours
Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist
Confined Space Entry

Preferred

Candidate must be able to accurately identify and operate tools associated with drilling and reaming precision holes utilizing hand tools and tooling fixtures
Must have working knowledge of proper identification, installation and inspection of aircraft structures, sub-structures, hardware and low observable coatings
