Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end data QA strategy for risk and compliance platforms, with a focus on NICE Actimize solutions (AML, CDD, Transaction Monitoring, Fraud, etc.)
Design, review, and execute data validation and reconciliation test plans for complex data pipelines and ETL processes
Perform advanced SQL-based data analysis to validate source-to-target mappings, transformations, aggregations, and business rules
Validate data used in risk models, scenarios, alerts, and regulatory reports
Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Data Engineering, and Actimize configuration teams to understand functional and regulatory requirements
Identify, track, and drive resolution of data defects; perform root cause analysis and ensure preventive controls
Establish and enforce data quality standards, metrics, and governance practices
Review Actimize rule logic, thresholds, and scenarios from a QA/data validation perspective
Mentor and guide QA analysts; conduct reviews of test cases, SQL queries, and defect reports
Support UAT, model tuning, and regulatory audits by providing data validation evidence and documentation
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in Data QA / Data Testing, with at least 2+ years in a QA Lead role
Strong hands-on expertise in SQL (complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning)
Solid experience with Risk and Compliance domains (AML, Fraud, KYC, CDD, Regulatory Reporting)
Hands-on knowledge of NICE Actimize platforms and data models
Experience testing ETL / data warehouse / data lake solutions
Strong understanding of data lineage, data reconciliation, and data quality frameworks
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with banking or financial services environments
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., AML, FATF, local regulatory guidelines)
Exposure to tools like Informatica, Ab Initio, Databricks, Snowflake, or similar
Experience with automation for data testing (Python, SQL frameworks, or data QA tools)
