Responsibilities
Assist with negotiations, scopes of work, change orders, submittals and RFIs
Help manage construction drawings, specifications and related documents
Take a leadership role in the QA/QC process, material expediting and tracking
Aid in the management of subcontractors and other team members
Ensure all onsite operations are conducted safely, on-time, on-budget and to our quality standards
Build strong client/owner relationships and support business development efforts
Coordinate the purchasing of essential safety supplies, products, or training items
Qualification
Required
2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in construction management of multifamily, tenant fit out or hospitality renovation projects in the $1 million – $10 million dollar range
Thorough knowledge and understanding of project budgeting and job costing
General contracting and/or construction subcontracting experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication
Proven supervisory/management skills and ability to motivate/manage team
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is preferred; or 3-5 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
