Responsibilities
Design, build, and enhance MDM data pipelines supporting product and supplier data
Transform, cleanse, and load data from multiple supplier formats (XML and other industry standards)
Improve data before it enters MDM and optimize exports coming out of MDM for downstream systems
Partner with business teams (30–40% of your time) to understand data issues and requirements
Build scalable processes and ETL workflows to support eCommerce and Salesforce
Model complex product and fitment data to support automotive aftermarket use cases
Collaborate with Salesforce, ERP (iSeries), and SQL teams to ensure data consistency and usability
Introduce new approaches and best practices to improve data quality and efficiency
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in data engineering, MDM, or ETL development
Strong SQL Server skills (core to this role)
Automotive aftermarket or distribution experience required
Hands-on experience with any MDM platform (Stibo, Informatica, Oracle, or similar)
Solid background in data modeling and data transformation
Experience supporting eCommerce or distribution data
Understanding of integration layers and ETL tools (expert-level not required)
Preferred
Azure Data Factory, EventHub, Data Lake, Databricks experience preferred
Experience in Salesforce data integrations preferred
Experience with complex product data models and fitment logic preferred
