Randstad Digital Americas is seeking a Sr. Mainframe Engineer who possesses strong mainframe and distributed technology skills. The role involves deploying and supporting software releases into production environments while ensuring effective communication and collaboration in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience

Experience: Proven expertise with mainframe technologies and working knowledge of distributed systems

Solid hands-on development skills in mainframe languages and technologies (Cobol, CICS, VSAM, JCL, utilities, FileAid, Endevor, debuggers, schedulers, etc.)

Proficiency with the DB2 database management system and database processing concepts

Extensive experience in SQL language

Deploy and support software releases into production environments

Required
