Application Development Support Supervisor

They are seeking an Application Development Support Supervisor to lead a team in the analysis, programming, and configuration of public safety applications, ensuring operational results and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead and contribute to complex Software Applications utilized by Public Safety teams, assign work, conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and ensure high-performance standards
Oversee the creation and maintenance of Public Safety GIS data (street centerlines, address points, fire hydrant locations, emergency service response areas) and ensuring accuracy for Next-Generation 911
Manage the implementation and lifecycle of public safety applications such as Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management Systems, Scheduling systems, SharePoint sites
Lead application implementation and development projects, including creating customer web maps, dashboards, and automated scripting (Python, SQL, ESRI, CAD, RMS) to support first responders
Maintain SDE geodatabases, ensuring data integrity and integration with public safety database systems
Collaborate with Police, Fire, Medic, County and State personnel to identify operational needs and align system capabilities with business objectives
Assure and participate in a 24/7 on-call schedule to support critical public safety IT infrastructure
Assist in developing IT budgets, strategic plans, and policies for public Safety IT services

Qualification

Required

High School diploma or equivalent and 11 year(s) of relevant experience; or 2 Year College degree and 9 year(s) of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree and 7 year(s) of relevant experience; or Master's degree and 5 year(s) of relevant experience
Advanced proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS suite, SQL Server, and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
