As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of Shopify-based eCommerce stores for IMAGE Skincare web and mobile sites.

Responsibilities
Gather and document functionality requirements and specifications, and recommend best approach for delivering web and mobile functionality
Participate in the evaluation and selection of Ecommerce technologies
Upgrade, maintain, support, and scale the Ecommerce platforms and related systems to meet evolving and growing user demands
Awareness and staying current with security best practices and proactively implementing and maintaining security standards
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Supply Chain as well as external service providers to provide deliverables
Monitor and investigate ecommerce analytics for changes in performance and usability, such as page load times, bounce rate, conversion, etc
Develop and customize Shopify themes to create unique and high-quality storefronts
Build and integrate custom Shopify applications and features
Optimize Shopify sites for performance, scalability, and maintainability
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure design feasibility and consistency
Implement third-party services and APIs to enhance site functionality
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality
Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and technical expertise
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve the store's performance and features
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years' experience leading Shopify Plus app development and deployment in a large, multi-store complex systems environment
Must have deep expertise in HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, SCSS, React.JS, Liquid
Experience with Shopify API integrations, theme customizations, responsive themes, extensions and web services. Integration with SAP B1 a plus
Experience using Google Clouds Services, Google Analytics is a plus
Proficiency with SEO best practices, digital marketing, email marketing and conversion rate optimization
Experience with standard IT processes, including Agile, SDLC, DevOps, capacity planning, and Change Control
Experience using a source control repository such as GitHub
Desire to continuously learn and stay current with IT industry developments and trends
Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to mitigate risk, communicate effectively, and facilitate problem resolution
Ability to self-manage and motivate, to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects at the same time, using sound judgment
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and contributors, internally and externally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across both business and technical audiences
Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with astute attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook)
