Collaborate closely with business partners, architects, and engineering teams to support and maintain high volume production platforms
Focus on production support, incident remediation, application enhancements, and continuous improvement across both mainframe and distributed environments
Deploy and support software releases into production environments
Qualification
Required
COBOL, CICS
AWS – support
Oracle/SQL
DB2
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
Proven expertise with mainframe technologies and working knowledge of distributed systems
Solid hands-on development skills in mainframe languages and technologies (Cobol, CICS, VSAM, JCL, utilities, FileAid, Endevor, debuggers, schedulers, etc.)
Proficiency with the DB2 database management system and database processing concepts
Extensive experience in SQL language
Deploy and support software releases into production environments
Strong knowledge of and experience with the overall testing process
Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Capacity to successfully implement complex solutions in a dynamic environment
Preferred
Java
Relevant certifications in mainframe and distributed technologies are desirable
Any knowledge or experience in distributed technologies, cloud computing, and/or Java programming is a plus
