APS-3: Specialist, Logistics Administration

KBR is a company that maintains and manages Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion - Charleston. The Specialist, Logistics Administration will provide maintenance and logistical support for the Army’s War Stock set #3, ensuring optimal readiness and compliance with technical requirements.

Responsibilities

Technical Research – Access and utilization of multiple Apps, websites, documents and SOP’s
EMS NG – Electronic Interactive TMs
IADS - Electronic Interactive TMs
ETM/IETM App – Within LOGSA (LIW). Single use or download up to date TMs/IETMs
UTAP – Unit Training Assistant Program (equipment training website)
APD – Army Publishing Directorate (ARs, DA PAMs, DOD FORMS, etc.)
LOGSA (LIW) – Multiple Applications
Safety Message Coordinator – Guidance provided with MWO/SMG SOP. Creation, Update & Provision of APS-3 Form MT-30 as well as utilization of MMIS app within LOGSA and TULSA website required for this duty
Disposition Coordinator – Validate and submit equipment code-out documentation to Operations dept. Access for TM/IETM, APD, LOGSA, AWRDS and FEDLOG required
MWO Coordinator – Guidance provided within MWO/SMG SOP. Provision of DA FORM 2408-5 and utilization of the MMIS app within LOGSA is also required for this duty
Deviation/Waiver Coordinator – Work Instruction for filling out form is undocumented. Access and utilization of the ETM/IETM app within LOGSA and utilization of the APD website are required for this duty
Controlled Exchange Coordinator – GCSS-Army access rights required
DA FORM 2408-4 Coordinator - Access and utilization of the TULSA Weapons Card link required
AOAP Coordinator - AOAP rights required. Access and utilization of AOAP App within LOGSA required. Requires AOAP Monitor test/cert to submit samples to Lab
Warranty Coordinator - Required to create and maintain a database of warrantors as new equipment is received into the program. Also responsible to facilitate planning with external contacts for performance of contractor required warranty repair actions
Additions and Add-on’s - Download electronic copy of PS MAG, HIP TIMES, HMMWV Newsletter, etc. as they are made available. Post to the Shared Drive and notify all personnel. Save and post all solutions to issues not found by “normal” means, to include email replies from Item Managers office, local GOV and/or LAR. SOP revisions and updates

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Must be able to obtain and maintain local base access
Must be able to meet government-specified requirements for deployment
Working knowledge of GCSS-Army and strong communication and computer skills
Highly proficient with Microsoft office suite, particularly MS-Excel, MS-Word, and MS-Power BI Data extraction, manipulation
High School diploma: college completion/military service viewed favorably
Bachelor's degree in related field or 5 years of applicable specialized military or military contracting experience can be used in lieu of formal post high school education on a one-to-one basis
2 years' related experience in fields involving U.S. Army production, maintenance, logistics, supply, or record keeping using automated systems
Must be able to stand - between 2 to 3 hours per day
Must be able to walk - between 4 to 5 hours per day
Must be able to lift and carry up to 20-35 lbs. frequently and with team 50 lbs. periodically
In addition to day-to-day standard office activities, must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, stoop, stretch, bend and climb periodically
Must be able to work outside and inside in non-climate-controlled environments
Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as hearing and eye protection, hard hat and steel-toed boots as well as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which may include but not limited to clothing (undergarments, shirts and pants and/or coveralls), reflective vests/belts, sound suppression devices, etc

Preferred

Working knowledge of Army unit structure (i.e. MTOEs, authorizations, requirements, equipment readiness)
Prior experience with Operations in military service or working with Army staff is a plus
Lean Six Sigma training/certification is a plus
