Responsibilities
Create and distribute content for employee communication channels
Deliver critical information regarding safety protocols, operational changes, and performance targets to facility workers
Partner with facility leaders and HR to develop communication strategies for change management around special projects
Identify and complete ongoing projects that drive continuous improvement and support the vision to grow and develop front-line leaders to support the facility workers
Ensure communications compliance with brand standards, confidentiality markings, and internal communications approval processes and procedures
Track and analyze metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communications
Plan and execute facility communications 40%
Spend time on the floor learning the business, facility and employees 20%
Coordinate with facility leaders and HR on priority communication topics 10%
Support facility events 10%
Help with front-line leader development 10%
Misc projects, continuous improvement 10%
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of experience
Bachelor's degree. Will accept an Associate's Degree in Communications with more experience
Effective Communications: Working knowledge and understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors
Copywriting and Editing: Knowledge of copywriting and editing; ability to write, review and edit texts and documents to promote marketing
Basic graphic design: Ability to create basic visual communications, including printed materials and digital signs, using PowerPoint or other graphic design tools
Writing and editing skills
MS Office 365 suite (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
