NaturalData, Inc. is seeking a Help Desk Technician Level 1 to join their dynamic IT support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance, troubleshooting a wide range of hardware and software issues to ensure seamless computer operations across the organization.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt and professional technical support to end-users via phone, email, or remote access tools
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications including Microsoft Office
Assist with computer management tasks such as software installations, updates, and configurations using tools like SCCM and GPO
Support network connectivity issues involving LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and network administration to ensure reliable communication
Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory and handle password resets or account lockouts
Maintain detailed documentation of support requests and resolutions using ServiceNow or Jira; escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary
Support mobile devices and peripherals while ensuring compliance with IT security policies related to BMC Remedy, Meraki, and other infrastructure components

Required

Proven experience in providing technical support or help desk services in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
Familiarity with operating systems including Windows (especially Windows Server), macOS, and Linux
Hands-on experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, LANs, and firewall configurations
Proficiency in using remote management tools like SCCM and understanding of Group Policy Objects (GPO)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users
Ability to analyze problems quickly and develop effective solutions under pressure
