Research Coordinator II
The University of Southern California is seeking a bilingual and detail-oriented Research Coordinator II to join their research team in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences. This role involves maintaining contact with study participants, conducting interviews, entering data, and providing project support for NIH-funded environmental health research studies.

Responsibilities
Maintaining contact with participants enrolled in the studies and scheduling appointments for study visits
Conducting interviews in English and collecting biological specimens from participants for PFAS and related environmental testing
Entering data into databases
Providing project support to the research studies and the study staff personnel and faculty investigators
Coordinating participant follow-up
Assisting with IRB amendment submissions
Managing bio-specimen shipping and tracking
Ensuring accurate and timely data collection as described in the funded applications

Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks
Flexible working hours including evenings and weekends may be needed
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Administrative or research experience
Knowledge of medical environment and terminology
Knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and institutional research regulations as well as Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and HIPAA regulations
Proficient with MS Office applications
Demonstrated effective communication and writing skills
Ability to multi-task
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Preferred
Prior experience in a research environment
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
Preferred Experience: 3 years
Preferred Skills: Staff education and orientation experience
Knowledge of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems and Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS)
