Responsibilities

Lead/Manage/Support: The Insider Threat Engineering SME II is a senior technical lead responsible for the architecture, integration, and ongoing performance of insider threat platforms and engineering tools
Collaborate with stakeholder groups to align detection strategies with mission priorities and ensures that the analytic framework remains effective and aligned to emerging insider threat tactics and data sources
Drive mission success by overseeing system design and data integration across all platforms and case management systems. The SME ensures that all technical systems supporting insider threat operations are robust while also leading automation efforts, ensuring data integrity, in alignment with governance policies across insider threat engineering workflows
Utilize User Behavior Analytics deterrence, detection, and monitoring in a large and diverse operational environment, behavioral science expertise, expertise in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques, development of intelligence products, data mining, predictive and prescriptive analytics, link analysis, network analytics, text mining (structured and unstructured), and data visualization techniques

Required

15 + years of related experience
US Citizenship Required: Yes
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering (with equivalent demonstrated experience in field) or Master's (preferred)
Experience: 15-20+ years of related experience
Technical skills: CISSP, CCITP
Security clearance level: MBI
Role requirements: Ability to perform machine learning, natural language, and statistical analysis methods, such as classification, collaborative filtering, association rules, topic modeling, time-series analysis, regression, statistical inference, and validation methods
