Responsibilities
Designs, develops, implements and supports Java/Spring Boot based microservices
Confers with systems analysts and other software engineers/developers to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
Analyzes information to determine, recommend, and plan computer software specifications on major projects and proposes modifications and improvements based on user need
Develops software system tests and validation procedures, programs, and documentation
Identifies and creates technical solutions to improve the developer experience for application teams in Cloud environments
Improves and tests Cloud security of applications within AWS environments
Builds automation pipelines using DevOps concepts and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools
Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts
Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms
Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree
Experience in designing, developing, implementing and supporting Java/Spring Boot based microservices
Ability to confer with systems analysts and other software engineers/developers to design systems and obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
Experience analyzing information to determine, recommend, and plan computer software specifications on major projects and propose modifications and improvements based on user need
Experience developing software system tests and validation procedures, programs, and documentation
Ability to identify and create technical solutions to improve the developer experience for application teams in Cloud environments
Experience improving and testing Cloud security of applications within AWS environments
Experience building automation pipelines using DevOps concepts and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools
Ability to develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts
Experience designing applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms
Experience developing applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives
Ability to develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives
Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems
